In Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde-Behörde und mit Einwohnern hat Nicholas Micros mit seinen Skulpturen eine Ausstellung in und um das ländliche Dorf Ottenbach geschaffen. Sie umfasst auch zwei ausgestellte Arbeiten im nahen Zürich.
Die Werke wurden über die letzten 18 Jahre an seinem Wohn- und Arbeitsort an einer Hauptstrasse des Dorfes kreiert. Wie der Titel nahelegt, wiederspiegeln die Motive der Skulpturen die Erfahrungen eines Amerikaners aus New York, der in einem kleinen Schweizer Dorf lebt und arbeitet.
