Materials and processes used to create these works on paper include: shellac, pigments, casein, glue, stone dust, stapling and collage. Although considered as independent works of art, they often correspond expressively to the various sculpture groups as well. Sculptor`s works on paper can be viewed as a distinct genre of creative activity. In the words of sculptor David Smith: “Drawings are studies for sculpture, sometimes what sculpture is, sometimes what sculpture never can be.”
